For my part, before kiddo was born I put together a list of at-home exercises that addresses a bit of everything: mobility/posture, kettlebell skills, ring skills, yoga, floreio, conditioning & Dan John's 7 human movement categories.

I take 3-4 of those areas at any one time and focus on them, which gives me a list that I run through sequentially with no specific goals as far as movements per session or sessions per week. Means I can generally stay well rounded through the newborn phase.

Yeah, still doing big compounds, but more focus on isolation, muscle connection rather than just moving weight

I've made a few menu changes in recent months that are good low-hanging fruit to pick. If I do all of these then my diet stays pretty heathy regardless of everything else

Work breakfasts: went back to bulletproof coffee, does a good job of stopping hunger even if its overhyped. Has really helped kill sugar cravings during the work day for me

Work lunches: I don't mind eating the same thing every day so I wanted to figure out the best combo of supermarket items I could use to assemble a salad in the office. Huon have a packet of hot smoked salmon offcuts now that goes for $24/kg which helps a lot, because it gets way more boring with chicken or tuna. You can easily improve on the shit-tier canola & vinegar dressing in the salad kits by mixing chobani, evoo & whatever else you want, I add lemon juice & harissa. Also a good chance to sneak in some meme health foods like raw sauerkraut & sprouted legumes.

Junk food at home: I used to eat at least a chocolate bar & small bag of chips most nights. Realised that having endless caramelised onions just means leaving a bag of sliced frozen ones on the stove for a few hours every now & again, so I've replaced the chips with them, chorizo, cheese & those really thin crackers. Because assembling each cracker takes a while I don't just eat it all absentmindedly which was always my issue.

As far as the chocolate goes, I made choc chip cookies as healthy as I could without making them taste shit. Will post the recipe if anyone's interested but main things are subbing flour for oats/almonds/whey, subbing most sugar for natvia, subbing milk chocolate for 70% dark and using grass-fed butter. I make a big batch and freeze smaller logs to use later, not a big time investment.
